Vito Gamberale took part in the Meeting entitled “Il fotovoltaico come il computer e il telefono cellulare?”

Vito Gamberale took part to HFV Meeting, entitled “Il fotovoltaico come il computer e il telefono cellulare?” [photovoltaic like computer and mobile phone?]. The Event, organized by HFV _ Holding Fotovoltaica, in collaboration with AEIT and GSE, happened in Rome on 28 november 2013.
During his speech, Vito Gamberale explained what are, on the basis of his experience on both sectors, the similarities between the spread out of mobile phones and photovoltaic systems. Gamberale has effectively been one of the protagonists of the success of TIM – Telecom Italia Mobile, as the first wireless telephony player in the Nineties. He is now CEO of F2i – Fondi italiani per le infrastrutture, which controls a share of 49,8% in HFV (one of the main players in Italy in the photovoltaic sector).
Vito Gamberale recalled that, since he was a kid, he always thought natural being able to obtain energy from the sun. F2i CEO then underlined that the sun represents a great opportunity.
Sad words have been express with reference to the proofitering the photovoltaic sector has been victim of: an indiscriminate run to subsidies by some dishonest players has discredited a segment which should deserve more respect, also in consideration of the opportunities of environmental impact reduction.
Vito Gamberale also underlined that the renewable sources of energy, and photovoltaic in general, not only had a staggering development, but also generated positive effects on the environment, on the trade balance, on occupation and on the national industry.
