Giuseppe Maria Chirico

Nato a Milano il 3 agosto del 1958, Giuseppe Maria Chirico è un manager italiano attualmente alla guida di Waste Italia SpA - società leader in Italia nel settore della raccolta, selezione, trattamento e smaltimento dei rifiuti - di cui è Presidente e Amministratore Delegato.

Laureato in Economia Aziendale presso l'Università Bocconi di Milano, tra il 1982 e il 1992 Giuseppe Maria Chirico ha ricoperto vari incarichi all'interno del Gruppo Pirelli, dove è stato, tra le altre cose, Project Leader, Product Manager, controller delle attività commerciali, responsabile del marketing operativo e direttore del marketing della società Pneumatici Pirelli.
Nel 1993 è iniziata la sua esperienza nel Gruppo Waste Management Italia durata sino al 1997, ricoprendo dapprima l'incarico di Direttore Commerciale di Divisione e, successivamente, di Direttore della Divisione Commercial and Recycling e Direttore Centrale Vendite e Marketing.

All'interno del Gruppo Waste Management Italia, Giuseppe Maria Chirico ha ricoperto inoltre l'incarico di Presidente ed Amministratore di alcune delle società controllate.
Dal 1998, Giuseppe Maria Chirico ricopre per circa un anno l'incarico di Direttore Generale della Plastic Omnium Lander SpA. Nello stesso anno diventa socio ed Amministratore Unico di Eco Logica Italiana Srl.
Dal luglio 2002, Giuseppe Maria Chirico è socio ed Amministratore Delegato di Waste Italia.
Attualmente, Chirico è inoltre Presidente di SEI Energia SpA, anch'essa come Waste Italia appartenente al Gruppo Kinexia.

Born in Milan on August 3, 1958, Giuseppe Maria Chirico is an Italian manager currently managing Waste Italia SpA - a leading Italian company in the field of waste collection, sorting, treatment and disposal where he is President and Chief Executive Officer.

He graduated in Business Economics at Bocconi University in Milan, between 1982 and 1992, and he held various positions within the Pirelli Group, where he was, among other things, Project Leader, Product Manager, Controller of commercial activities , Marketing Manager and Marketing Chief Operating Officer of the company Pirelli Tires.
In 1993 he began his experience in Waste Management Italia Group until 1997, serving first as Commercial Director of the Division, and later as Director of Commercial and Recycling Division and Managing Director of Sales and Marketing.

Within the Waste Management Italia Group, Giuseppe Maria Chirico has also served as President and as Director of some subsidiaries.
In 1998, Giuseppe Maria Chirico is for about 1 year General Manager of Plastic Omnium Lander SpA. In the same year he became a partner and CEO of Eco Logica Italiana Srl.
Since July 2002, Giuseppe Maria Chirico has been a partner and CEO of Waste Italia.
Currently, Chirico is also Chairman of SEI Energia SpA which is part of Kinexia Group, just like Waste Italia.
